Salvatore G Pace

Salvatore G. Pace beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away on September 17, 2015 at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on July 13 1926 in Serra St. Bruno, Italy. He came to America in 1956 and resided in Schenectady, New York working as a carpenter until he was 78 years old. He was married to Dorothy (Armstrong) Pace who predeceased him in 2014. Salvatore was the loving father of Biagio (Sharon) Pace, Josephine (Pace) Longe, Raymond Armstrong and Jerry Armstrong. He is also survived by his Grandchildren, Jeremy (Kerri-Anne) Pace, Heather Pace, Kimberly Pace, Nicholas (Carrie) Pace, Kevin (Stephanie) Couture, Aaron Couture, Paul Couture, Caleb Longe, Tammy Commarto and Bridget Monlea. His Great grandchildren, Jerry Armstrong, Raymond Armstrong, Richard Armstrong, Jeremy M. Pace, Juliana Pace, Andrew Pauly, Mia Pace, Tommy Commarto Jr. and Jules Monlea, his brother and sisters Angelo Pace, Anna (Bob) Adams and Ida Pace and many nieces and nephews. Salvatore will be remembered by his family and friends for his sense of humor as he could light up any room with his smile. We would like to thank the staff at Baptist Nursing Home for their abundant kindness, care and concern you provided for Salvatore. Funeral services will be held Monday September 21st at 12 noon at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 11 to 12 noon prior to the funeral service. Contributions may be made in Salvatore's memory to the American Diabetes Association, 2 Pine West Plaza, Albany, NY 12205 Interment will follow in Memory Gardens, Colonie, NY
