Ruth E Woodbeck

Ruth E. Woodbeck, 65, of Ford Avenue Rotterdam died Friday October 13, 2006 at home after a short illness. Ruth was born in Cobleskill, NY on Friday June 13, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Ethel (Blanchard) Woodbeck Sr. She was self employed for many years as a Day Care Provider, working from her home in Rotterdam. Ruth enjoyed playing Poker on Saturday nights with her family. She is predeceased by 3 Brothers- Ralph Woodbeck, Orben Woodbeck and Howard Woodbeck and one sister Betty Rose. Ruth is survived by two daughters Martha Van Acker of Schenectady and Holly Ballmes ( David) of Rotterdam, two Brothers Elmer Woodbeck Jr and Leon Woodbeck both of Schenectady, two Sisters Charlotte Mclasky of Rotterdam and Frances Sheldon ( Roger) of Rotterdam also survived by 5 Grandchildren-Britney, Kayla and Jacob Ballmes and Jason and Zachary Van Acker and several nieces and nephews.Funeral Services will be Wednesday 11AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Tuesday evening 6-8PM at the Funeral home. Internment will be in Parkview Cemetery.
