Ruth L Rivera

Ruth L. Rivera, 75, of Nott St. and formerly Lent Court Schenectady died Tuesday February 20, 2007 at the Ellis Skilled Nursing Home in Schenectady. Ruth was born in Schenectady and was the daughter of the late George and Edith (Faure) Charette. She was employed for 17 years in Housekeeping at the Bellevue Women's Hospital in Niskayuna, retiring in 1983. Ruth was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Rotterdam. She enjoyed Bowling, Bingo, Fishing and Gambling. She loved her family. Ruth is predeceased by her husband Arturo Rivera whom she married December 18, 1949, one son Richard Rivera, one brother William Charette and one sister Karen Keco. Survivors include her son Dale Pisarczyk of Niskayuna, four daughters Dawn Payton (Charles) of Ballston Spa, Renee Rivera of Hagerstown, MD, Dee Martin (Donald) of Clermont, Fl., and Tina Rivera of Glens Falls, one Aunt Ruth Munson of Fort Edward, NY also survived by 17 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Friday 10AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Thursday evening 7-9PM at the funeral home. Internment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Schenectady.
