Ruth M Streifert (Osborne)

Ruth M. Streifert , 89, of Duanesburg, died peacefully March 2, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. Born on March 24, 1932, she was the daughter of the late John and Mildred (Kottke) Osborne. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Keith L. Streifert son, Karl Streifert ; brothers Jack Osborne, Robert Osborne, Richard Osborne, Thomas Osborne and sister Nancy Gabriel (Mario). Ruth is survived by her beloved children Eric Streifert , Mark Streifert both of Duanesburg and Kurt (Victoria) Streifert of Johnson City, NY; her cherished granddaughters Jessica and Melissa Streifert, both of Johnson City NY; sister- in -law, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her dear friend Phyllis.

Ruth treasured the home she and her husband Keith built in 1962 and enjoyed vacations on Cape Cod. Her passions and hobbies expressed her love of beauty and family. She was a master gardener, exquisite home decorator and an expert needleworker. A thoughtful giver, her greatest gift to her family was that of abundant and eternal love.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday March 8, 2022, at Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY 12306. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call on Bond Funeral Home from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm for visitation before the service.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park 2150 Central Ave. Colonie, NY.
