Rose M Knapp

Rose M. Knapp, 81, of Rotterdam died suddenly on Saturday May 17, 2008 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late William and Vincentia (Pienttia) Sabatello. Rose was employed for many years as a Bookeeper for the Town of Rotterdam. She was a Volunteer at the Rotterdam Senior Citizens and was a member of the Rotterdam Democratic Club serving as their Chaplain. Rose is predeceased by one sister Mary Ross and three brothers,Carmen Sabatello, Michael Sabatello and Frank Sabatello. She is survived by two sons Nelson Knapp (Sharon) of Schenectady and Donald Knapp (Elizabeth) of Williamton, SC, one daughter Carol Van Luik of Irvine, TX, one brother Anthony Sabatello of Scotia, also survived by 13 Grandchildren-Jessa, Jon, Heather, Nelson III, Lindsey, Samuel, Matthew, Andrew, Spring, Jonathan, James, Benjamin and Daniel as well as one Great Grandchild Killian and Several Nieces and Nephews. A Memorial Service will be Friday 1PM at Christ Community Church 2739 Hamburg Street in Rotterdam. A Gathering will be Friday 12-1PM at the church. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend.
