Rosa Fiorini

Rosa Fiorini,87,living with her daughter in Rotterdam died Thursday April 17, 2008 surrounded by her loving family at North Shore University Hospital in Long Island. Born in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Sante and Pia Stirpe. A homemaker, Rosa had worked for St Clares Hospital in the housekeeping department for over 11 years. A member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, she was the wife of the late Giuseppe Fiorini who died in 1998. Rosa is survived by her children, Anna M. Pidgeon (Ronald)and Pio R. Fiorini (Diane) both of Rotterdam and Marilyn Moschello (John) of Connecticut, a brother John Stirpe of Toronto , Canada, 9 grandchildren- Frank J. Pidgeon ( Stella), Laura Lisicki ( John), Mark A. Pidgeon ( Stephanie), Bill Fiorini ( Elvita), Dr. Melissa Fiorini, Michael Cataldo, Anthony Cataldo, Maria Moschello and Andrianna Moschello ,10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and her devoted dog Mimi. Funeral service will be held Tuesday morning April 22, 2008 at 9:30am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY followed at 10 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Princetown Rd. ,Rotterdam where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home from 8:30 to 9:30 prior to the services. Interment in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
