Ronald M. Borst, 69, died Saturday March 10, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM after a brief illness. Born January 10, 1938 in Hobart, NY, Ronald was the son of the late Melvin and Emma Borst. He has one brother Robert (Bob) Borst and his wife Pat of Duanesburg, three sisters, the late Helen L. Jump and her late husband Richard G. Jump, Betty J. Wildermuth and her late husband Harvey L. Wildermuth of Rotterdam and Terry L. Mickey and her husband Harry of Guilderland. Ronald lived most of his life in Schenectady, where he was a school bus driver with Northland Transportation. He was also a Taxi Driver part time for Central Brown Taxi. Previously he worked for Schenectady Chemical Company and served briefly in the National Guard. He lived in Albuquerque for the last two years, where he again drove a school bus for handicapped children. Ronald was the husband of the late Melvina Borst and is survived by a son from a previous marriage, Ronald Borst Jr. who currently resides in Pennsylvania with his wife Danice. Ronald has two Goddaughters Kelly Vialpando and Becky Smith as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Saturday afternoon March 17, 2007 at 5PM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Calling Hours will be held at the Funeral home from 3-5PM. Internment will be in the spring in Viewland Cemetery in Rotterdam.
