Roland Van Antwerp (Rollie)

Roland (Rollie) Van Antwerp, 58, of Rotterdam Junction died Saturday at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Albert N. Van Antwerp and Mary Ella (Mead) Van Antwerp. He was a graduate of Schalmont High School. Rollie was self employed. He was a lifelong resident of Rotterdam Junction. Rollie enjoyed bowling and playing cards with the guys.. He is survived by one brother Erwin (Pete) Van Antwerp of Schenectady, one Aunt Marilyn Mead of Schenectady, one Sister in law Deborah Montanaro of Rotterdam Junction, one nephew Albert W. Van Antwerp of Rotterdam Junction, one niece Kimberley Cromp Van Antwerp of Schenectady, one great nephew Payton Noah Cromp and one great niece Kari Ann Cromp. A Memorial Service will be Saturday at 11AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Calling Hour will be Saturday 10-11AM prior to the service.
