Robin L. Leather

Robin Leather, aged 62, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family, on December 29, 2024, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Robin was born on June 25, 1962, in Schenectady, where she spent her entire life. She graduated from SUNY Cobleskill with a degree in landscaping and later worked as a cosmetic merchandiser at CVS Pharmacy.

Above all, she cherished spending time with her family, enjoyed watching television, and was an avid reader.

Robin is survived by her loving husband, Brian; her brother, Christopher Ramsey; her daughters, Samantha Leather and Amanda Dugan; her stepchildren, Bianca Leather and Christopher Leather; and many grandchildren. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Robin was a kind and generous soul who always put the needs of others before her own. Her love and compassion touched everyone she met, and she will be remembered for her infectious smile, laughter, and warm personality.

A Celebration of Life will be planned by her family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
