Robert A Young

Robert A. Young 52 died Wednesday January 27, 2010 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady, Bob is the son of Gloria (Corraro) Young of Waterford and the late William Young. A mechanic and owner of Bobby's Auto in Rotterdam Junction for over 29 years, Bob was a devoted family man who cherished his granddaughter Adriana. He enjoyed boating and his camp on Sacandaga Lake and was a member of the Fishouse Community Center. Beside his mother, Bob is survived by his wife of 31 years Marsha (Budka) Young, his children, Robert Young Jr. (Diana) of Glenville and Rebecca Young of Scotia, his granddaughter, Adriana, brothers, William Young (Cyndi) of Mariaville, Brian Young (Patricia) of Scotia and Barry Young (Douglas Swartz) of Waterford and his two grand puppies, Enzo and Lightning. A memorial service will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland, Schenectady, NY, relatives and friends are invited to attend. A visitation will follow the service at the funeral home till 4 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a scholarship fund for Bob's granddaughter Adriana, being established at Trustco Bank in his memory.
