Robert Wolken

Robert "Rob" Wolken, 41, of Depot Road, Duanesburg died suddenly Thursday January 19, 2006 at St. Clares Hospital. Rob was born in Rockaway, NY and was the son of the late Martin Wolken and Alice (Tully) Wolken of Duanesburg. He was employed as a Pool Builder for James Pacuk Construction Co. and as a Furniture refinisher for Maple Creek Furniture.Rob attended St. John the Evangelist Church in Schenectady. He enjoyed Sky Diving at the Duanesburg Sky Diving Center. Rob enjoyed Baseball (The Yankees), Football (NY Football Giants) and Nascar(Dale Earnhardt Jr.).He was devoted to his Family. Rob was loved by everybody and will be missed by all. Besides his mother, Rob is survived by 4 brothers Martin J. Wolken Jr.(Melanie) of Duanesburg, Richard Wolken ( Carol) of Utah, John Wolken of Duanesburg and Michael Wolken ( Chris) of Delanson, several nieces and nephews Ashley Wolken, Martin Wolken III, Morgan Wolken, Heather Wolken, Emily Wolken, Mikayla Wolken and Joseph Wolken, one Great nephew Bryor Taimanglos, and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Funeral Services will be Monday 9:15AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady followed by a Mass at 10AM at St. John the Evangelist Church 802 Union Street Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Sunday 2-4PM and 6-9PM at the funeral home. Internment will be in Memory's Garden in Colonie. Contribution's can be made in Rob's memory to the Center for the Disabled 314 South Manning Blvd.Albany, NY 12208 or to the Duanesburg Volunteer Fire Department PO Box 40 Duanesburg, NY 12056. Immediately following Services at the Cemetery, on Monday all are invited to a reception at the Esperance-Sloansvillle United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
