Robert P Snell

Robert P. Snell 87, passed away Monday October 31st at Saratoga Hospital. Born in Schenectady, Bob was the son of the late Phillip and Rose Snell and a graduate of Scotia Schools. A graduate of the General Electric Apprenticeship Course, Bob worked for the General Electric Company for over 30 years prior to his retirement. A member of the G. E. Quarter Century Club, he enjoyed woodworking and was a member and former President of R.E.A.C.T. and very active with its Pumpkin Patrol. Predeceased in 2007 by his wife of 55 years Dolores (Benedict) Snell, Robert is survived by his children; Sharon Yawman (James) of Ganesvoort, Stephen Snell (Bernadette) of W. VA and Lawrence Snell (Susan) of Colorado, his 7 grandchildren; Rachel Young, Jeffrey Snell, Douglas Snell, Jessica Snell, Phillip Yawman, Jessica Yawman and Robert Yawman and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral service Friday afternoon November 4th at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. A visitation will precede the service at the funeral home from 12 to 1 pm.
