Robert R. Pudvah 89 of Schenectady and formerly of Pottstown and King of Prussia, PA., died Sunday February 8th at Kings Way Arms Nursing Home in Schenectady, NY. Born in Sheldon Springs, VT, he was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and the son of the late Lonnie and Lydia Pudvah. A World War II Army veteran, Robert worked as an electrician at the General Electric Company in King of Prussia, PA. for over 40 years before is retirement in 1984. An avid outdoorsman, Robert was an amateur photographer, a member of the Electric City Riders Motorcycle Club, life member of the NRA, life member of the Lake George Power Squadron and was a square dancer for 40 years traveling to all 50 states. Robert is survived by his wife of 51 years Emily Virginia Loeber Pudvah of Schenectady, two brothers, Harold Pudvah of Barre VT. and Gerald Pudvah of Middlegrove, NY and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon February 12th, 2009 at 2 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home Thursday afternoon from 1 to 2 pm. prior to the funeral service. Spring interment in Fishers Cemetery, Rotterdam, NY. Contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Capital District Chapter, 85 Watervliet Avenue Albany, NY 12206
