Robert Mcnamara

Robert J. McNamara 47 of Scotia died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday December 14, 2004. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., Bob was the son of Theresa (MacDonald) McNamara of St. Petersburg, Fl. and the late John M. McNamara. A 1975 graduate of Scotia Glenville high School, Bob worked in retail sales for most of his life and was the Manager at David's Bridal Shop in Colonie at the time of his death. He was a Volunteer for the American cancer Society and was known as Uncle Bob to everyone. His life revolved around his family especially his beloved nieces and nephews. Beside his mother he also survived by two sisters; Theresa (Terry) M. Martin of Saratoga Springs and Marie V. McNamara-Kot (Randall) of Scotia and four brothers; J. Mark McNamara of Washington, DC, George F. McNamara(Jen) of Alexandria, Va., Kevin R. McNamara(Kevn) of Tampa, Fl. and Thomas L. McNamara(Jill) of St. Petersburg, Fl., his nieces and nephews; Abigail ,Jarred, John Andrew, Kim, Stephanie, Amanda, Karmin, Kamryn, Samantha and Alex Andrea. Funeral services will be held private at the convience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
