Robert C Lindstead

Robert C. Lindstead 62 of Rotterdam died Sunday April 23, 2006 at Ellis Hospital after a short illness. Born in Niskayuna, Bob was the son of the late Charles and Genevieve (Smith) Lindstead and a graduate of Guilderland high School. An army veteran, he worked as a sales associate for Hannaford Markets in Rotterdam for the past 10 years and also at the Gazette Newspapers as a bundle carrier for 10years. Robert was devoted to his family and grandchildren, enjoyed gardening and was an avid NASCAR fan. Robert is survived by his wife of 39 years Shirley P. (Clark) Lindstead who he married December 17, 1966, five children, James L. Lindstead (Kristina) of Cobleskill, Brian K. Lindstead and Tammy S. Cieszynski both of Schenectady, Jill E. Johnson of Duanesburg and Kevin M. Lindstead of Schaghticoke, two brothers, Richard Lindstead of Gansevoort and Jay Lindstead (Pam) of Texas, a sister, Joan Wagner (Donald) of Delmar, nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning April 27, 2006 at 11am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY with a calling hour being held at the funeral home from 10 to 11am prior to the funeral service.
