Robert D. Kingsley 72 of Rotterdam died peacefully at home on Thursday October 13, 2005 surrounded by his family Born in Rotterdam, he was the son of the late Norris and Mabel Kingsley. An army veteran of the Korean War, Bob work as a mason for many years in the area retiring in 1995 from C.H. Quay and sons after 20 years of service. He was a member of Local #2 Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman, The International Union of Bricklayers, The Mohegany Pond Club in Long Lake and the Burnt Hills Hunt Club in Schoharie. Robert was predeceased by his son Robert D. Kingsley. Survivors include his wife of 49 years Dawn E. (Harding) Kingsley and a daughter Linda D. McDonald (Patrick) of Rotterdam, a sister Mary Taber of Rotterdam and four grandchildren Meghan, Kelsey, Molly and Sean Mc Donald. Funeral services will be held Monday morning October 17, 2005 at 11 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady. Calling hour will be held at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6 to 9 pm, Interment in Schenectady Memorial Park.
