Rotterdam- Robert A DeLollo, 86 passed away on Tuesday afternoon January 14, 2025, at St Peters Hospital in Albany. Born in Watervliet on August 13, 1938, Robert was the son of Charles and Beatrice (LaForest) DeLollo.
A 1959 graduate of Watervliet High School, Robert served in the Navy from 1959 to 1963 where he was stationed on board the USS Mt McKinley. After his service he worked for and retired from Lucent Technology after 32 years of service. He loved playing golf and could make friends anywhere; he will be truly missed.
A devoted Husband to his late wife Sandra, Father and Grandfather. Robert is survived by his Sister Concetta Anthus, his children, Keith A. DeLollo (Lisa) of Schenectady, Robert C. DeLollo (Jodi) of Saratoga and Melissa M. Seid (Mitchell) of Rotterdam, his grandchildren Jack and Aaron Seid, and his many nieces and nephews
Funeral services will begin at 10:15am at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady on Friday January 31 followed by a Mass at 11am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chruch 210 Princetown Road, Rotterdam where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY following the mass
A visitation to celebrate Robert’s life will be held on Thursday evening 5pm to 7pm at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org)
