Richard Seib

Richard Seib, 81, of Polsin Drive Schenectady died Thursday April 26, 2007 at the Glendale Home. Born in Scotia, NY, he was the son of the late Edward and Louisa (Nethaway) Seib. Richard was a graduate of accounting from Siena College. He served in the US Navy. Richard was self employed as a Caterer. He was a member of the Rotterdam Elks, Schenectady Elks, Carman Merchants Bowling League and the Schenectady City League. Richard is predeceased by one brother George Seib and four sisters-Vera Russell, Anna Marrocco, Ruth Parker and Susan Vincent. Survivors include his wife Laura Metcalf Seib whom he married May 17, 1944, four daughters Linda Guiton ( Paul) of Schenectady, Karen Lynch ( J. Timothy) of Greenville, SC, Kathy Wroblewski ( Craig) of Schenectady and Lorie Ruth ( Clifford) of Schenectady, also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Saturday 2PM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Calling Hour will be Saturday 1-2PM at the Funeral Home. Internment will be in Viewland Cemetery in Rotterdam.
