Richard A Restina

Richard A. Restina 73 passed away after a short battle with cancer on Wednesday morning January 28, 2009 with his wife of 54 years Beverly by his side. Born in Schenectady on October 21, 1935, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Dambrosio) Restina and brother of the late Jules Restina. Dick retired from UPS in 1994 to his homes at Sacandaga Lake, Scotia and Port St. Lucie, Fl. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and after his retirement became an avid golfer. He shared his love of golf with is two sons and grandson. He was the husband of Beverly (Clough) Restina who he married on May 16, 1954. Beside his wife Beverly he is survived by his sons Richard J. (Kyle) and Gregory (Karin) all of Scotia; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Jason and Alexandra, a brother Frank Restina(Dee) of Port St. Lucie, Fl. as well as many nieces and nephews. He will live forever in the hearts of his grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held Monday February 2, 2008 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Scotia, NY. There will be no Calling hours.
