Richard E Brush

Richard E. Brush Sr., 61, of Cedar Street Schenectady died Sunday July 30, 2006 at home after a long battle with Cancer. Richard was born in Schenectady and was the son of the late Kenneth G. and Dorothy (Durand) Brush. He was employed for the Davis Acoustical Corporation in Troy for 35 years last employed as a superintendent for the company. After the company closed, he was employed for AM Contracting in Cohoes. Richard was a leader and was a fair and loyal man to all. He is survived by his wife Judith Brooks Brush whom he married April 9, 1983, two sons Richard E. Brush Jr. and Joseph K. Brush both of Schenectady, one daughter Richelle Brush of Schenectady, two brothers Ronald C. Brush and Bradley Brush both of Schenectady, one sister Carol Ann Hunt of New Mexico, one Grandchild Ashley W. Hunt Jr., two special nephews Ronald O. Brush of Amsterdam and James W. Hunt of Alaska as well as several other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be Thursday August 3, 2006 at 6PM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend.
