Rev Brian M Cronin

Rev. Brian Cronin, died Saturday August 27, 2011 at Fletcher Allen Health Care Center in Burlington, VT. He was the son of the late Colum Cronin and Mary Connelly. Born August 9, 1946, educated at St. Barnabas School, Bronx, Cardinal Hayes High School and St. Joseph's, Our Lady of Angels and St. Mary's Seminaries. Ordained a priest of the Diocese of Albany on December 7, 1974. He served as Associate Pastor in several parishes, as well as Hospital Chaplain at St. Mary's Troy. He also served as Pastor of St. Patrick's Troy, Immaculate Conception, Schenectady, and administrator of a number of parishes. In addition he was chaplain of many other organizations. Fr. Brian is survived by his brother Gene and Sister in law Chris, a brother Kevin, several nieces, nephews, and grand nieces, and grand nephews. Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be celebrated on Thursday September 1, 2011 at 11am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Avenue, Albany, NY. Wake Wednesday August 31, 4PM - 7PM at the Church. Burial at Most Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.
