Rebecca L. Zimmerman,60, passed away after a brave battle with lung cancer on Tuesday morning January 2nd at the Joan Nicole Prince House in Scotia, NY. Born in Logan W.V., Rebecca was the daughter of the late Troy Zimmerman and Barbara (Noe) Hume of Orange Park, Fl. A graduate of Westland High School in Columbus, OH, Becky worked for over 25 years at the Glendale Nursing Home in Glenville and later as a Dietary Cook for the Life Care Center at Wells Crossing in Orange Park for several years. Predeceased by her father Troy and her brother Tom, Becky was a beloved mother,grandmother,daughter,sister and friend. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer L. Hernandez(Benedict) and Amanda D. Priddle both of Niskayuna, her grandchildren Kaily, Drew and Evan Hernandez and Austin Priddle, her siblings, Henry Zimmerman and Brian Zimmerman (Melissa) both of Columbus, OH, Debi Atkinson(Steve) of Columbus ,OH,Jeannie Zimmerman of Jacksonville,FL,Susan Lenhart (Jeff) of Greensboro,NC and Tammy Smith of Orange Park, FL. Becky is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Becky's family has held a private memorial service.
