Raymond Fredenburg

Raymond Fredenburg, 98, of Rotterdam died Monday evening October 2, 2006 at his home in Rotterdam. Born and educated in Canajoharie, he was the son of the late Irving and Pearle (Brown) Fredenburg. Raymond worked at the General Electric Company in Schenectady for over 29 years before retiring in the early 1970's. Ray loved gardening and had a green thumb and was an avid hunter and amateur Taxidermist. Raymond was predeceased on August 13, 2006 by his wife of 72 years Marion M. Rollman Fredenburg. He is survived by 4 sons James Fredenburg and his wife Louise of Rotterdam, Walter Fredenburg and his wife Diane of Rotterdam, Richard Fredenburg and his wife Carol of Slingerlands and David Fredenburg and his wife Adel of Daytona Beach, FL, also survived by 11 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren and Great Great grandchildren. He was also predeceased by one Brother, seven Sisters and one grandchild Funeral services will be Friday 1PM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Thursday evening 6-8PM at the funeral Home. Internment will be in Woestina Cemetery in Rotterdam Junction.
