Ray Languell Jr

Ray Languell Jr.,86, passed away peacefully Wednesday December 6th at the Joan Nicole Prince Home in Scotia. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Ray was the son of the late Ray and Helen (Chronister) Languell Sr. A Navy veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam Wars, Ray retired as a Navy Recruiter after 34 years of distinguished service. He was a member of the Chiefs Association and VFW post #1895 in Rotterdam. Ray was also a Furniture Restoration Expert for R &D Wood Shop in Scotia, NY. One of 17 brothers and sisters, Ray was predeceased in 2002 by his beloved wife Doris (Dolan) Languell who he married on May 28, 1955 and in 2016 his son Clifford Languell. Ray is survived by his children; Todd A. Languell (Christina Zuhlke) of Scotia, Cynthia K. Languell of Scotia and Robin Cristofolini of Indiana, 11 grandchildren;Christina Battaglino (John), Neena Monroe, Anessa Urbanski, Derrick Urbanski, Elena Andorfer (Stephen), Danielle Cristofolini, James Cristofolini, Collin Bowser, Penelope Languell, Joshua Languell and Jennifer King,13 great grandchildren; Justin, Joseph, Dominic, Jacob, Gabrielle, Jacey, Dineisha, Akasha,Demetrius, Jaiden, Harold, KeAndre and Leora and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 12th at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, 1614 Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12 to 1 pm prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in St Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville.
