Randy Bell

September 12, 1966 — August 10, 2022

Randy R. Bell 55, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday August 10th at home in Delanson.

Born and educated in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Beverly (Orsini) Bell and a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School.

A superintendent in the Carpenters Union, Randy worked for VMJR Construction at the time of his passing.

A former member of the Army National Guard, Randy was a member of Local 291 of the Carpenters Union, a former member of the Moose Lodge, The NRA and was an avid hunter.

Beside his mother Beverly, Randy was also predeceased by a brother Ralph Bell and sisters Susan Benway and Rosemary Bell.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years Wendy L. Boettner who he married on June 25, 1994, a son, David L. Bell, grandchildren, Devin and Anthony Bell, brothers, Roger Bell, Ricky Bell and Rory (Maryann) Bell and his many nieces and nephews.

A service of remembrance for Randy will be held on Thursday August 18, 2022, at 12 noon at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. A visitation for family and friends will take place from 10 to 12 noon prior to the service.

Randy’s family would like to invite all family and friends to continue the celebration of his life at 796 Gage Road, Delanson, NY following his services at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made in Randy’s memory to the Wounded Warrior project or to your local Disabled American Veterans Association.
