R. James "Jimmy Who" Walts 60 of Rotterdam died Monday evening June 30th at Glendale Nursing Home. Born in Watertown, NY, Jimmy was a graduate of Mohawk Valley C.C. A parts manager for over 22 years at Syracuse Supply Company also worked for American Boat Line in Thousand Island as a Tour Boat Captain. Jimmy was a member and past exalted ruler of Rotterdam Elks Lodge 2157, member and past president of the Rotterdam Eagles, Member of the Polish American Veterans and VFW Post 1895. He was predeceased by his parents Richard and Bernice Walts, a sister Cathy Walts and his niece Jessie Walts. Survivor's include his brothers Mert Walts of Fayetteville and William Walts of Clayton, an aunt Jeanette Wiswell of Clayton and good friend Isabel Boughton of Rotterdam. A memorial service will be held at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY on Thursday evening July 3, 2008 at 6 pm with a visitation being held till 8 pm following the service. Rotterdam Elks Lodge #2157 will hold a service at 7pm. Interment in Clayton Cemetery.
