Phyllis Vorkapich

Phyllis A. Vorkapich 50 of Glenville died Saturday morning July 7th, 2007 at her home in Glenville. Born in Niskayuna, she is the daughter of Ann (Proper) Lamp of Rotterdam and the late David Lamp. A graduate of Schalmont High School, Phyllis worked in sales at CVS pharmacy in Scotia for the past 12 years. She was a member of the Second reformed Church of Rotterdam and enjoyed the outdoors and camping. Phyllis is survived by her husband of 29 years Mark A. Vorkapich who she married November 18, 1977, two daughters, Jodi M. Vorkapich of Rotterdam and Kelli A. Rooney (Jared) of Glenville and a grandson, C.J. Rooney. A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon July 12th at 3:300pm at Viewland Cemetery on Putnam road in Rotterdam, NY. Arrangements are by Bond Funeral Home in Schenectady, NY
