Phyllis L Lincoln (Samborin)

September 9, 1931 — October 27, 2017

Phyllis L. Lincoln, 86, of Rotterdam passed away on Friday October 27, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at the Joan Nicole Prince Home in Scotia. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Lena (Gentile) Samborin. Phyllis was employed in customer service for the Sunmark Federal Credit Union in Schenectady. Prior to that, she was employed for the State Equipment Company, Sears Department Store on Erie Blvd, the Army Depot in Rotterdam, Northeast Savings Bank in Schenectady and the Schenectady County Community College. Phyllis was a member of the Calvary Tabernacle Church in Schenectady. She was active in the church Bible study program. Phyllis was considered to be the oldest living Polio survivor in Schenectady County. Phyllis was considered a saint, she loved family and had a heart of gold. She is predeceased by her brother Anthony F. Samborin. Phyllis is survived by her husband Frank R. Lincoln of Rotterdam and one daughter Leigh Elizabeth Lincoln of Rotterdam as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews, family members in West Virginia and friends. She is also survived by her beloved dog Molly. Funeral Services for Phyllis will be Wednesday November 1, 2017 at 12 noon at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. A calling hour will be 11-12 prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Schenectady. Contributions can be made in Phyllis's memory to the Joan Nicole Prince Home 22 Glenview Drive Scotia, NY 12302.
