Philip Notto

Philip Notto, 61. of Schenectady, passed away on Sunday April 13, 2025 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Francis and Pauline (Mastrianni) Notto Sr.

He was employed as a Police officer for the City of Schenectady. Philip enjoyed practicing shooting at the local gun range. He was passionate about Dogs especially his dogs Maxine and Molly. Philip enjoyed sports, especially his beloved Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees. He also enjoyed spending time with his nephews.

Philip was dedicated to his faith and a member of St. John the Evangelist Church.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his brother Francis Notto Jr.

Philip is survived by his sister Lucille DeRocco (Sam) of Niskayuna, his niece and nephews Anthony DeRocco of Niskayuna, Andrea Hundley (Trey) of Union, NJ, Michael DeRocco of San Francisco and Daniel De Rocco of South Glens Falls as well as several cousins.

A Mass to celebrate his life will be on Friday April 25, 2025 at 11am at St. John the Evangelist Church 806 Union Street Schenectady.

Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in his memory to the charity of one's choice.
