Pearl Anderson

Pearl Anderson, 94, of the Town of Amsterdam, formerly of Rotterdam died Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. Born in Newburgh, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Meta (Krogman) Dana. She was employed as a Secretary for Annie Schaeffer Senior Citizens in Schenectady. Pearl was a member of the former Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Rotterdam. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star-Helderberg Chapter #331, serving as a Past Matron of the Lodge. Pearl was also a volunteer at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. She is predeceased by her husband George E. Anderson and one son Donald Anderson. Pearl is survived by five children-Allan Anderson of Schenectady, Bruce Anderson (Paula) of Sprakers, NY, William Anderson (Lori) of Rotterdam, Judith Fernandez (Jose) of Westport, Ct., and Lynne Anderson-Powell (William) of Amsterdam, NY, one daughter in law Diane Anderson of Scotia, also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great, Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Thursday 11AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Wednesday evening 6-8PM at the funeral home.
