Paul W Tate

Paul W. Tate 22 of Scotia died of congenital heart condition Thursday August 11, 2005 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady, Paul is a graduate of Scotia Glenville High School and the son of Corine (Leonard) Lombardo and her husband Randy of Scotia and David Tate and his wife Lauren of Fayetteville, NC. Paul was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church. Beside Paul's parents he is also survived by a daughter; Kristin Rossler of Scotia, a sister Sabrina Lombardo of Scotia, a brother Ronnie Tate and two step-brothers Michael and Robert Bascomb all of Fayetteville, NC, his grandparents William and Leah Leonard of Rotterdam and Thomas and Ginger Shinn of Lawrenceville Ga., his great grandmother Theobell Tate of Bartlesville, OK and his devoted girlfriend Jessica Rossler of Scotia one uncle Ed Leonard of Rotterdam, one aunt Christine Schuppe(Paul) of Rotterdam and a host of relatives and friends. Paul was also predeceased by his grandfather Ronald Tate. A memorial funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon August 17, 2005 at 1 pm at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1911 Fairview Avenue, Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Paul was a generous tissue and organ donor. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Paul W. Tate Memorial Fund, C/O Kelsea Moore, 11 Robinson Road, Scotia, NY, 12302 which has been established as an Educational Trust Fund for Paul's daughter Kristin.
