Paul J Ryder

Paul J. Ryder 89 died Monday evening August 16th at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Summit, NY, Paul was the son of the late Roscoe and Daisy (Johns) Ryder. A production worker for the former 3M Company in Schenectady for over 32 years, Paul later worked for Schalmont School District for over 10 years. An outdoorsman, Paul enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lola (Utter) Ryder and daughters, Barbara G Becker (Ivan) of Richmondville and Cheryl D. Esposito (Louis) of Princetown, a brother Roscoe Ryder of East Worcester, NY and sister, Laura Myers of Texas, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Paul was also predeceased by a son Ronald P. Ryder in 1964. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon August 19, 2010 at 2 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. A calling hour will precede the service from 1 to 2 pm. Interment in Schenectady Memorial Park.
