Paul M Pintavalle

Paul M. Pintavalle, 62, of Manhattan passed away Thursday December 26, 2013 at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. Born in Schenectady, Paul was the son of Michael G. Pintavalle of Las Vegas, NV and the late Yvonne (Marhafer) Pintavalle. After graduating from Mont Pleasant High School, Paul attended Colonna Beauty School in Albany and Vidal Sassoon in London. Paul was formerly a hair stylist at Inner Circle Studio and Jean Paul Spa & Salon, and former owner of Latalier Hair Salon in Latham and was the current owner of Transformational Beauty located in Albany and Manhattan. Besides his father, Paul leaves behind his sister Mary Anne Palmatier (Stephen S. Koblensky, III) of Greenfield Center, NY, two aunts, Wilma Marhafer of Scotia and Sister Mary Herman of St. Joseph's Provincial House, Latham, one uncle, Arthur Pintavalle of Rotterdam, one niece, Nicholle DeMatteo of Rotterdam and nephew Todd DeMatteo (Kate) of Charlotte, NC, as well as 5 great nephews and his dear friend, David Prusko. A memorial service for Paul will be held Friday January 3, 2014 at 4pm at Bond Funeral Home, 1614 Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, with a visitation held from 4:30pm-8pm after the service. Donations in Paul's memory can be made to a Community Hospice of ones choice.
