Paul L. Miller, 75, passed away on Sunday August 14th at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.
Born and educated in Schenectady, Paul was the son of the late Earl and Catherine (Lane) Miller and a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School.
A Vietnam era Army veteran. He was second armored division assigned as a mechanic in battery C, first battalion of the division's 14th artillery. Paul later worked for the General Electric Company for over 35 years starting in woods and plastic and ending his career in research and development.
A member of the GE Quarter century Club, Paul was a former Little League coach, enjoyed model and radio-controlled airplanes, a friend to all of his neighbors (he would always make sure their driveways were clear of snow) and he was an excellent mechanic and loved muscle cars.
Paul will be remembered for his infectious laugh, he loved to laugh. If you couldn't find dad in a store you hoped he'd run into someone who made him laugh so that we could find him. That is how big and unique his laugh was.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years Gail M. (Hudson) Miller, his children Hollie L. Miller of Schenectady and Paul E. Miller (Kim) of Ballston Spa, his brother, John Miller (Louise) of Rotterdam, his sister, Christine Miller Bennett of Rotterdam his nephews and niece, John A. Miller of Albany, Joseph V. Bennett (Jane) and Leigh Fredenburg (Richard) both of Rotterdam.
