Paul G. Blake,56, of Schenectady passed away suddenly on Friday June 1, 2018 while in New Hampshire. Born in Niskayuna, NY, he was the son of the late Robert and Shirley (Smith) Blake. Paul was a tractor trailer driver for System Freight Company of New Jersey. He was passionate about driving trucks since he was 18 years of age. He was a loving husband, father and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Paul was a very hard-working individual. Paul enjoyed camping and boating at Sacandaga Lake every season. He loved watching UFC fights regularly with his son. Paul was passionate about NASCAR and the Yankees He was a member of the Rotterdam Eagles. Paul is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth (Low) Blake, one son Jason P. Blake of Schenectady, three step sons Jason Coppolo (Tara) of Sloansville, Thomas Coppolo (Hillary) of Reno, Nevada and Joshua Coppolo (Laura) of Rotterdam Junction, one brother Bob Blake (Irene) of Greer, SC, half-brother Terry Mace of Schenectady, two sisters Lisa Klymkow (Brent Kristel) of Broadalbin and Judy Blake (Fred Krutz) of Broadalbin. He is also survived by four step grandchildren Josiaha, Averie, Lucy and Noah as well as several nieces and nephews. Paul is also predeceased by one half-brother Larry Mace. Funeral Services for Paul will be Thursday June 7, 2018 at 7PM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Visitation will be from 4-7PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Paul's memory to the American Heart Association 4 Atrium Drive #100 Albany, NY 12205.
