Patsy Frascatore passed away on Tuesday evening, July 28th, 2015 at the age of 97. Born in Schenectady to the late Antonio and Jennie (Rotonde) Frascatore, Patsy was a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He worked for General Electric for over 30 years. During that time and after retirement he traveled to many locations in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Patsy was a communicant of the former Immaculate Conception Church and current parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace. He was predeceased by his wife, Fannie and his siblings, Harry, Alexander, Louis, Joseph, Eva, Vina and Ann. Survivors include his companion of many years, Laura Maynard, his brother-in-laws, Joseph Matura and Rocky Palmer, several nieces and nephews, his companion's children and his good friend, Dottie Morrett. Many thanks to all who cared for and about Patsy, especially during his final weeks of life. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning, July 30 at 9:30am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Rd., Rotterdam. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. Interment with full military honors will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville.
