Patricia J Begin (Thomson)

Patricia J. Begin, 87 passed away at her home on Monday afternoon July 11, 2016 surrounded by her family Born and educated in Schenectady, Patricia was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Isabelle (Tilley) Thomson. A homemaker, Patricia had worked for several years at the General Electric Company in Schenectady, she was a member of St John the Evangelist Church and a former member of St. Luke's Church. She enjoyed camping at Caroga Lake and throwing a good party. Predeceased in 2009 by her husband Joseph N. Begin, Patricia is survived by her children, Paul J. Begin (Margaret) of West Glenville and Sharon Mickan (Richard) of Barkersville, NY, 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren ,nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday morning July 19th at 9:15 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY followed at 10 am at St John the Evangelist Church, 812 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308 where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. A visitation will be held on Monday evening July 18th from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer in Niskayuna, NY In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to Community Hospice, 445 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY 12205
