Patricia E Rufo (Macdonald)

Patricia E. Rufo 81 died Thursday afternoon May 21st at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady, NY, Patricia was the daughter of the late Frank and Estelle (Krylowicz) MacDonald. A graduate of Mohonasen High School, Patricia loved gardening and caring for her cats and her favorite dog Zoe. Predeceased in 1987 by her husband of 25 years Alfred Rufo, she was also predeceased by her brothers, Robert, Earl and Frank MacDonald. Patricia is survived by her children; Patricia Hamid (Tahir) of Altamont, Gregory Rufo (Jenny) of Kingston, MA and Jeffrey Rufo of Scotia, her grandchildren; Deidrea Hamid, Aidan Hamid and Tyler Rufo, her brother Bruce Fitchner (Pat) of Rotterdam as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday afternoon May 26th at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12 to 1 prior to the funeral service. Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Guilderland, NY.
