Patricia Ann (Boehmer) Riccio Gradwell 78, passed away on January 5th at her home in Schenectady.
Born and educated in Schenectady, Patricia was the daughter of the late Howard and Jane (Salmonsen) Boehmer and was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and Albany Business College.
A former employee at Mohawk Nation Bank in Schenectady, Patricia was the owner of the Mailbox Tavern in Schenectady for more than 38 years.
She was a 25-year member of the New York State Restaurant and Tavern Owner’s Association, member and former Treasurer of the Eagles Lodge, Member of the Moose lodge, the V.F.W., the Red Hat Society, St Paul’s Church and its Rosary Society and a former 10th Ward Committee Woman.
Beside her parents Howard and Jane, Patricia was also predeceased by her former husband Arnold Peek in 2011 and her son Sean H. Riccio.
She is survived by her husband Edward J. Gradwell, and children, Sheryl A. Persons (Kenneth) of Schenectady, Darren M. Riccio (Jodie) of Mariaville Lake, Daughter-in-law, Kim Riccio of Ballston Spa, grandchildren, Mary Weidman, Noah Weidman, Doreen Riccio, Darrian Nadeau and Madison Riccio and great grandchildren, Mila, Greyson and Weston.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday January 14,2022 at 11 am at St Paul the Apostle Church, 2733 Albany Street, Schenectady, NY 12304.
Interment in Vale Cemetery in Schenectady.
