Patricia G Coons (Ellis)

Patricia G. Coons, 80, passed away on Saturday April 10th in Schenectady.

As a lifelong Schenectady resident, Patricia was the daughter of the late William and Rose (Alleca) Ellis.

Patricia was a homemaker until she decided to go back to school to earn her GED. She then worked for Mohawk Beverage as a book keeper, and the NYS Department of tax and finance over the years, before returning to homemaking.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and even a great great grandmother. In her earlier years she enjoyed going to bingo, and more recently, she loved visiting with her family, playing games on her tablet and even a scratch off or two.

Predeceased in 1984 by her husband of 27 years Robert C. Coons, Patricia was also predeceased by her parents, her son in law Keith Repscher, her grandson Timothy Bikowicz, her mother and father in-law Elissa and Everett Coons and her brother Richard Ellis.

She is survived by her children Teresa Repscher (widow of Keith) of Esperance, Pamela Bikowicz (Paul) of St Cloud, Fl. and Joseph Coons Sr. (Kathleen) of Schenectady, grandchildren Charity (Repscher) Bender (Edward III), Shayne Repscher (Nicole), Jason Coons (Lizzette), Robert Coons (Heather) and Joseph Coons Jr. (Pamela), 12 great grandchildren and a great great grandson, sister in laws, brother in law, several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be private at the convenience of her family.

Interment in Schenectady Memorial Park.
