Patience Phillips

Patience E. Phillips 77, of South Williams Street died Monday August 9, 2004 at Ellis Hospital after a short illness. Born in Rutland, Vt., she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothea Bruce. For many years Patience worked as a registered nurse, retiring as nurse manager for Dr. Christie of Gloversville, NY. Survivors include her husband of 54 years Donald R. (Bud) Phillips, two children; Charles Bruce Phillips and his wife Samantha of Perth and Patience Lydia Ann Phillips of Johnstown and two grandchildren; Conner and Olivia Phillips. A memorial service will be held Monday morning August 16, 2004 at 11 am at the Broadalbin Baptist Church, Main Street, Broadalbin, NY with Rev. Douglas Blanc Jr. officiating. Contributions may be made in Patience's memory to the American Diabetes Association, 50 Colvin Avenue, Albany, NY 12206.
