Nicolette M Barbera (Barbera)

Nicolette Marie Barbera, 66, passed away peacefully on December 11,2017. NickyB, as she was affectionately known, was born on January
3, 1951, in Schenectady, NY, to Nicholas Barbera and Kathleen June Barbera, both of whom predeceased her. Her brother, Gary Barbera
also predeceased her. Nicolette is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Chantel Sherman Martin and son-in-law, Collis Martin of New
Jersey, her brother, Danny Barbera, her sister, Mary Colby (Frank), and numerous other relatives and friends, as well as her cat Chloe, who
gave her much love and companionship. Nicolette graduated from Mt.Pleasant High School in 1969 and proudly began her career in the
United States Air Force. After her military service, she returned to the Schenectady community where she brought up her daughter and lived her remaining years. Nicolette was a wonderful artist who sold her work in local galleries. Some pieces remain with relatives who cherish her talent. Nicolette was a beautiful soul who would do anything to help anyone she could. She is deeply missed and loved.

Nicolette will have a full Military Honors Service to be held on October11, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., at the Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY, where she will be laid to rest. Friends may call at that time.
