Natasha McElroy

Natasha "Tasha" Nicole McElroy, 44, of Scotia, NY, passed away on November 25, 2025, after a short battle with cancer. Born on February 15, 1981, Tasha was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and friend whose kindness and beautiful spirit touched everyone she met.

Tasha had a smile that could brighten any day and a laugh that was unforgettable. More than anything, she treasured time spent with her family. Whether sharing stories, celebrating holidays, or simply enjoying each other's company, those moments meant the world to her.

She dedicated her career to sales management, where her caring nature and natural ability to connect with others made her truly exceptional.

She is predeceased by her father, James Civitello Sr.

Tasha is survived by her mother, Patricia Civitello; her children, Chase Civitello (Vicky) and Ryan McElroy; and her granddaughter, Kamryn. She is also survived by her siblings, James Civitello Jr. (Meghan), Cassandra LaPatra (DaQuan), John Civitello (Ashley), and Christyana Civitello.

She is lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Julia, Alyvia & Sadie Civitello;

Navaeha & Anthony Marcantonio; and DeSean Edwards & Shaniya Shaw, as well as many extended family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Tasha will be deeply missed for her warmth and the joy she brought into the world.
