Nancy (Arcoraci) Walsh

Nancy Arcoraci Walsh passed away on October 3rd at Rose Castle of Citrus.

Born in Dunkirk, NY, Nancy was the daughter of the late Joseph and Grace (Lusurdo) Arcoraci and a graduate of Oswego High School.

Nancy received her bachelor’s degrees in Teaching and her masters degree from Oswego Teachers College. For more than 40 years Nancy was a teacher in the Schenectady City School System.

She was a former member of the NYS Teachers Association, the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and a honorary member of the USS Iowa.

Nancy was predeceased in 2003 by her beloved husband of 42 years, James W. Walsh and her siblings, Louis, James and Ida Arcoraci.

Nancy is survived by her dear friends and adopted family, Michael Shepard and Patty Smith of Homosassa, Florida.

Services are private.

Interment in St Cyril’s Cemetery next for Beloved husband James.
