Nancy M Pallescki (Miller)

Nancy M. Pallescki, 93, of Schenectady passed away on Saturday April 21, 2018 at the Ellis Residential and Rehabilitation Center in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late James and Carolena (Becks) Miller. She was employed in clerical work for the NY Telephone Company, retiring in 1985. Nancy was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She was a volunteer at the former St. Clare's Hospital in Schenectady for 29 years. Nancy was also a volunteer for the Northeast Parent and Child Society. She also served on the high school reunion committee for Mont Pleasant High School. Nancy also enjoyed being a member of the Boulevard Bowl Seniors. Nancy was predeceased by her husband Peter D. Pallescki whom she married July 2, 1945 and two brothers John Miller and James Miller. She is survived by her two children Peter Palleschi (Elaine) of Rotterdam and Carolyn Pallescki (William Newton) of Salisbury, VT. Nancy is also survived by five grandchildren Melissa Lenihan, Jason Lenihan (Jennifer), James Lenihan, Peter Palleschi (Colleen) and Michael Palleschi (Shannon) as well as seven great grandchildren-Jayna, Jack, Mary, Benjamin, Madeleine, Cassidy and Nicholas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Nancy will be Wednesday April 25, 2018 at 12 noon at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Visitation will precede the service from 10AM-12PM. Interment will be in Schenectady Memorial Park in Rotterdam.
