Ms Joan V Milne

Joan V. Milne 57 died Saturday morning October 16th at her home in Niskayuna, NY. Born in Schenectady, Joan was the daughter of Constance (Milne) Aldrich and the late John Milne of Rotterdam. A graduate of Draper High School and SUNY Delhi, Joan worked as a Diet Technician at Julie Blair Nursing Home in Albany for over 30 years. Joan enjoyed cooking and traveling, and she attended the Niskayuna Reformed Church, . Besides her mother Constance, Joan is survived by Anna M. Albert of Niskayuna, her brothers Robert Milne (Victoria) of South Yarmouth, MA, and John Milne (Sharon ) of London, England, her Aunt Jennie McKenzie Milne of Schenectady and her niece and nephews, Jenny, Joshua, Jason and Ian Milne. A memorial service will be held on Friday afternoon October 22, 2010 at 2 pm at Niskayuna Reformed Church, 3041 Troy Schenectady Road, Schenectady, NY 12309. As a memory to Joan, contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Community Hospice, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12309, or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 421 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, or to charity of choice.
