Mrs Mildred D Parks

Mildred D. Parks 91 died Friday morning December 31, 2010 at Ellis Residential and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by family. Born in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Martha (Lohner) Keller. A graduate of Mont Pleasant High School, Mildred worked for Mohonasen High School in the Cafeteria for more then 20 years before her retirement and was a former member of the Carman United Methodist Church. Mildred was predeceased in 1965 by her husband Irvin W. Parks and was also predeceased by her son Irvin Parks Jr. Mildred is survived by her daughters, Patricia Kirk of Gloversville, Cindy Sherman of Schenectady and Marcia Silsbee and husband Robert of Rotterdam, daughter-in-law Ann Marie Parks of Schenectady, 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning January 5, 2011 at 10am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Internment will be in Schenectady Memorial Park.
