Mr Kenneth T Lamp Jr

Kenneth T. Lamp Jr. 61 died Friday morning October 15th at Ellis Hospital. Born in Niskayuna, he is the son of the late Kenneth T. and Freda (Bessette) Lamp Sr. a graduate of St. Columbus School, Kenneth worked security at the General Electric Company for over 27 years before his retirement in 2003. A United States Navy veteran, Ken was a former member of the fire Police and Rotterdam District 6 Fire Department, he was a former Town of Rotterdam Fire Inspector , member of the Schenectady County Sheriffs Association and the GE ¼ Century club. Kenneth was predeceased in 1995 by his wife of 22 years Donna R. (Williams) Lamp. He is survived by his 2 sons Travis J. Lamp (Kelly) and Nathan T. Lamp both of Schenectady, his sister's, Kathy Audette (Michael) of Malta and Kolleen Brett of Indianapolis, IN, brother Kurtis Lamp (Louise)of Schenectady and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning October 19, 2010 at 11 am at Bond Funeral Home, 1614 Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday evening October 18th from 6 to 8 pm. Interment in Schenectady Memorial Park.
