Mr Harold James Paine Jr

Harold James Paine Jr. 82 died Wednesday September 14th at William Child's Hospice House in Palm Bay, Fl. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Harold and Hermine (Loukota) Paine and a graduate of Scotia High School and the GE Apprenticeship and Manufacturer Training Programs. A manager in Large Steam Turbine, Jim retired from the GE in 1986 after 40 years of service. He was a life member of the GE Apprentice and Managers Alumni Associations, GE ¼ Century Club, the Air Masters Radio Controlled Club and the 1st Presbyterian Church Sebastian. Predeceased by his daughter Virginia Clark in 1993, Jim is survived by his wife of 60 years Beverly Ann (Jewett) Paine who he married on October 14, 1950, his son and daughter-in-law, John and Zelda Paine of Pattersonville and grandchildren Christopher, Edward, Luke and Michelle Paine. Funeral services will be held on Monday morning September 19, 2011 at 11 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY with a visitation being held at the funeral home from 10 to 11 am prior to the funeral service.
