Mr Arthur D Petrozzi

Arthur D. Petrozzi 88 died Thursday morning October 21, 2010 at the Samuel Stratton V.A. Medical Center in Albany. Born and educated in Schenectady, Arthur was the son of the late Antonio and Carrie (Marocco) Petrozzi. A Navy veteran of WWII, Arthur was a 1947 graduate of Hudson Valley Community College. An employee of the General Electric Company in the Steam Turbine Department for over 35 years, Arthur retired in 1979. He was a member of the GE Quarter Century Club, the Flying Deuces Radio Controlled Air Plane Club and a former member of St Anthony's Church. Arthur is survived by his wife of almost 50 years Angelina (Tommasone) Petrozzi who he married November 6, 1960, his son Arthur Petrozzi Jr. and wife Terri of Cicero, NY, his sister, Viola Pettica of Niskayuna, his grandson Andrew Foster of Liverpool, NY and several nieces and nephews. Arthur was also predeceased by his brother, Edward Petrozzi. Funeral services will be held on Monday Morning October 25, 2010 at 10am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 8am to 10 am prior to the services. Entombment in St Cyril's Cemetery. Arthur's family wishes flowers not be sent and contributions made to Stratton V.A. Medical Center, 113 Holland Ave., Albany, NY 12208, Attention Fisher house in his memory.
